New CD in the Works Our second CD is in the works and we are planning to spend much of the next six weeks or so finishing up the tracking. We are enjoying the new songs and are looking forward to sharing them. The next show that we have booked will be once again at Rico's Coffee and Wine bar in downtown Colorado Springs on Friday, March 2nd at 7:30 PM. Hope to see you then! More info at our shows page...

Burn the Maps is a four-piece, mostly acoustic, band based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They write and perform original songs that create a unique blend of acoustic and electric sounds with intricate three-part harmonies, anchored by tasteful drumming. Their latest release, Terra Incognita, provides twelve unique tracks that invoke their multi-layered indie-folk-pop roots.
Burn the Maps are inspired by artists such as The Swell Season, Death Cab for Cutie, Ingrid Michaelson, The Frames, Coldplay, U2, Bon Iver, Wilco, R.E.M., The Old 97s, Radiohead, Nickel Creek, The Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons, and many more.
